What should go on the CV?
Before anything else, make sure to create a CV that is simple and easy to read. It should use a basic font, concise headings and bulleted lists.
It should also contain the following contents:
- Header with contact information: This section helps the employer to be able to understand where you are based and how to reach you.
- Personal Profile- CV Objective or CV Summary: The employer understands you and what you hope to achieve in your career from this section.
- Work Experience: This helps the employer understand what relevant experience you bring to the advertised job role.
- Education: This section is particularly important if you are a fresher with little or no professional experience,this helps the employer ascertain whether you have the right background for the job,
- Skills/Certifications: Any relevant certifications in this section will help you stand out while the employer browses through your CV. This section helps the employer understand that you have a deeper interest in the field you are interested in.
- Interests/Hobbies: This part helps your employer connect with you if they find similar in
