What You Need

Activity #1: Plan Your Workshop Logistics

This step ensures you have everything ready for the workshops. Delegate tasks to your team, but the person responsible for coordination should lead most of the work.

• Use the Initial Insights Logistics Cards for this module during a planning call with your core team. You can either share the cards online during a call, or print the cards for an in-person planning session.
• Review each card as a checklist of things to do when planning.
• If you’ve completed the logistics tasks on the cards, you should have:
  • Found the right location and venue
  • Sent reminders and confirmed attendance of your workshop participants
  • Planned catering and refreshments
  • Organised transportation, stipends, and accommodation
  • Bought supplies and printed materials
  • Hired interpreters, if needed
