4. Define your tactics
- Tactics are the things you ask your supporters to do, in order to convince the target that they need to act. To get this right, your tactics must be EASY enough for your supporters to do, but BIG enough for your target to notice. Do not ask your supporters to do something they can’t do, like give lots of money or travel all the way to the other side of the country to visit parliament. Do not do something so small (one post on Facebook) that your target won’t see it.
- Look at this list of tactics and write down those you’d like to try for your campaign. These are not the only tactics. You can get creative – dance, sing, boycott a product. As long as you do not to break the law or put anyone in danger, there are many peaceful ways to draw attention to your cause.
