In the meeting UNICEF presented the KG:ABR to the participants and the details of the 8 flagship programmes.

It was noted that there is an active youth development program (YDP) in the city with good participation and engagement. The island authorities expressed a dire need for positive parenting programs. Concerns were raised regarding the increase in mental health issues among young people after the COVID19 pandemic. Additionally, environmental issues were noted including waste management, and flooding when it rains. They also highted presence of sedenary behaviours in children, and healthy food, including locally grown produce were noted to be expensive, making it unaffordable and inaccessible for an average family.
